I tuck Nick in for his nap today and he asks for a book. I give him three, and he says he just needs one. Fine. I choose one and he says, "I want a cool one, not a silly one." Hm, so I try one that I read to him, and he says, "No, a cooler one. That one has girls in it." I calmly chose another, and he's satisfied with that. Adjectives aren't his thing, so this was an insightful and interesting exchange! One Snowy Night is a cool book - as reviewed by Nicholas, age 3.
