We started the day (May 2) with some ca'cakes (pancakes) with whipped cream. Katherine was cutting them for Nick and encouraging him to eat them with the fork rather than his hands, but I didn't get that on film - my camera battery was dead. I got just this one shot after he was finished eating.
Most of the rest of the day was spent outside. Oma stopped by bearing gifts.
