June wrap-up

Well, good gracious, if it isn't almost July! Let's see ... Katherine finished school on June 9th and we've been trying to get some 'experiences' in (she talked about 'experiencing' something a few days ago and that does sum up what I'm striving for this summer. We went to a fancy lunch with a friend in Milwaukee, she did a week long science camp (Camp Invention), a picnic, trips to the park, a couple playdates, short bike rides, a trip to Indiana, strawberry picking, etc. This weekend we are taking her to the Wisconsin Dells and are leaving Nick with my mom. This will allow them some one-on-one time and us more freedom to have greater experiences without a shrieking, energetic, nap-needing 3 year old. ;) So tons of pictures to come from that trip, as we'll be hiking and visiting the Crane Foundation, in addition to some time at a water park (it IS the Water Park Capital of the World, after all).
